Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently looking for a Beautician to join our team! The Beautician plays a direct role in enriching the lives of our residents. You will work directly each day with our residents to help them feel and look their absolute best! In this role you will have the opportunity to meet new people, share stories with our greatest generation, and most importantly, serve others. Responsibilities:

+ Performs desired hair styling for all residents to include: hair cuts, styling, perms, colorings, set rollers, shampoos; according to current cosmetology practices and procedures.

+ Ensures that the towels, rollers, combs, brushes, and all other hair styling equipment is kept in a clean and safe working condition at all times.

+ Performs routine cleaning of beauty salon and surrounding areas (sweeping of hair, cleaning counter tops, mirrors, etc.)

+ Ensures that all supplies are ordered in a timely manner.

+ Makes appointments for residents.

+ Collects all money, fills out receipts and fills out information cards on services.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus a beauty school diploma and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Must have a current cosmetology state license.
