Description
The Manager, Demand Planning Excellence plays a pivotal role in driving excellence across the end-to-end demand planning process across all regions. Acting as a process expert, this role ensures consistent deployment of best-in-class demand planning methodologies, tools, and analytics in alignment with global strategies and regional business priorities.
The role focuses on process standardization, capability building, and continuous improvement within demand planning, enabling enhanced forecast accuracy, agility, and value creation across the supply chain. The incumbent partners closely with regions and affiliates, brand supply chain teams, and IT stakeholders to embed standardized ways of working and optimize system utilization to deliver business performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Deploy, sustain, and continuously enhance the global demand planning process across all regions and markets, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and priorities.
+ Drive process simplification, automation, and standardization to elevate forecast accuracy and planning efficiency.
+ Identify process gaps, recommend enhancements, and ensure consistent adoption of best practices.
+ Support global and regional transformation programs (e.g., IBP, S&OE integration) to elevate planning maturity.
+ Manage the governance model for process improvements, including prioritization of system enhancements, business case validation, and ROI tracking.
+ Serve as business liaison for IT to ensure alignment on functional requirements and solution design.
+ Coordinate regional user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation processes for system releases.
+ Facilitate change management and adoption across diverse markets, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
+ Qualifications:
+ 3 + years in supply-planning / fulfilment roles, with continuous improvement or process-excellence projects in a multi-site, multi-region environment
+ Deep functional expertise in Demand Planning and forecasting, IBP, inventory optimization
+ Advanced proficiency in IBP tools (SAP, o9,…) and data‑visualisation (Power BI)
+ Change-agent mindset, strong workshop facilitation, crisp written process documentation, ability to influence across functions and culturesHigh Touch Leadership Competencies:
