Purpose
Lead financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting efforts to guide corporate strategy and operational decisions. Provide advanced financial insights, partner with business leaders, and mentor junior analysts to drive profitability and sustainable growth within the firm.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
+ Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to Financial Analysts and other staff.
+ Provide strategic financial guidance to department heads and corporate leaders.
+ Independently manage complex financial projects and cross-functional initiatives.
At the Operational and Company Level
+ Develop and lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
+ Perform advanced financial modeling, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments.
+ Partner with project managers to improve project-level financial health and margins.
+ Drive process automation and leverage financial systems/BI tools to improve efficiency.
+ Identify financial risks, opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
+ Lead development of corporate financial dashboards and decision-support tools.
+ Support mergers, acquisitions, and business development initiatives with financial due diligence.
Do the Work
+ Deliver executive-ready reports and presentations summarizing financial performance.
+ Conduct corporate-level and project-level variance analysis.
+ Drive continual improvement of company forecasting models and processes
+ Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
+ Collaborate with Accounting team to ensure timely reporting following each closed reporting period.
+ Lead ad hoc analysis for leadership, including resource allocation, pricing, and capital investments.
+ Mentor junior analysts by reviewing work, teaching best practices, and supporting development.
+ Complete other special projects as requested

Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
+ Five to seven (5–7) years of progressive financial analysis experience in a corporate environment.
+ Prior experience in A/E, construction, or professional services industry strongly preferred.
+ CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred (not required).
