Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Location- Phoenix, Arizona, Hybrid (3 days)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **GitHub Enterprise & DevOps Engineer** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GitHub Enterprise administration, GitHub Actions, and DevOps tooling, with a strong background in automation and Kubernetes management. This role is critical in driving enterprise-grade CI/CD practices, security tooling integration, and scalable infrastructure solutions.

In this role, you will

GitHub Enterprise Administration:

+ Manage and administer GitHub Enterprise, including user access, repository governance, and compliance.

+ Create and maintain GitHub Apps tailored for enterprise use cases.

+ Implement and manage enterprise-standard GitHub workflows and reusable workflow templates.

GitHub Actions & CI/CD:

+ Design, implement, and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD pipelines.

+ Manage self-hosted runners, including autoscaling, secure execution environments, and orchestration.

+ Integrate GitHub Actions with other DevOps tools such as Jenkins for seamless deployment processes.

Security & Compliance:

+ Utilize GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) tooling to monitor and enforce code security standards.

+ Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security policies.

Automation & Programming:

+ Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Java, or other relevant languages.

+ Build scalable solutions for workflow automation and infrastructure provisioning.

Kubernetes Management:

+ Design and manage Kubernetes cluster architecture, including layout, resources, and storage.

+ Monitor and optimize Kubernetes resources such as pods, nodes, and namespaces for performance and cost-efficiency.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)

+ Proven experience with **GitHub Enterprise Administration and GitHub Actions.**

+ Hands-on experience with **self-hosted runners and workflow orchestration** .

+ Strong programming skills in **Python, Java** , or equivalent languages.

+ Experience creating and managing **GitHub Apps** at the enterprise level.

+ Familiarity with **GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS)** tooling.

+ Proficiency in **DevOps tools** such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.

+ Solid understanding of **Kubernetes architecture** , resource management, and optimization.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred skills: what will help you stand out

+ Certifications in GitHub Administration, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices.

+ Experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

+ Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Helm.
