Description and Requirements

As part of the Lenovo Experience Group, we are a community of innovative thinkers who use analytics to drive data-driven decisions to improve customer experiences, employee experiences, and digital experiences for Lenovo operational teams.

Position Overview:

As part of the Lenovo Experience Group, we are a community of innovative thinkers who use analytics to drive data-driven decisions to improve customer experiences, employee experiences, and digital experiences for Lenovo operational teams. Join our data analytics team as a first year summer intern for a learning-focused opportunity where you'll work with experienced analysts and data science professionals who will teach you the fundamentals of data analysis while you contribute to real projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Learn and practice data analysis basics using tools like Excel and SQL

- Help create simple data visualizations to share findings with the team

- Assist in gathering and organizing data for team projects

- Take part in team meetings to understand how data professionals work together

- Learn how to document your work for team collaboration

- Work with different departments to understand how they use data

What You Need:

- Currently completing your 2nd year in Data Science, Computer Science, or similar

- Interest in working with data and solving problems

- Basic Excel skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Eagerness to learn new technical skills

- Good communication skills

- Some exposure to programming (Python, R, or any coding language)

- Familiarity with making charts and graphs

What You'll Learn:

- How to work with real business data to analyze and improve customer experiences

- How to apply machine learning and AI to optimize customer experiences

- Basic programming skills for data analysis

- How to create clear and useful data visualizations

- Professional workplace communication

- Industry-standard data tools and software
