We are hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst to be based in our Bloomington or Marshall, MN headquarter locations! In this role you will conduct and document complex financial analysis projects within Corporate FP&A’s Enterprise Financial Analysis and Simplification Team. You will ideally have a deep expertise in transforming raw data from various sources into clear, actionable insights for management. Beyond your strong technical skills, we are seeking a proactive and analytical problem-solver who can handle complex ad-hoc requests with minimal supervision. Sound like you – then apply! Responsibilities: • Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Reporting, analyzing, forecasting, and interpreting financial and operating data. This may include profit/loss analysis, cost analysis, and consolidation of enterprise-wide information for both actual results and forecast cycles. The role also involves supporting some end-of-month accounting activities. • Operational Support: Advising on and recommending desirable operational adjustments to management and interpreting budget-to-actual variances. The position also develops operating metrics and reviews performance against plans. • Data Analysis & Transformation: Transforming financial and operational data into meaningful information. This includes developing queries from different data sources (.xlsx, .txt, .pdf files), merging and appending them to create consolidated datasets, and automating routine reporting within Excel in support of standardization and simplification efforts. • Ad-Hoc Projects: Preparing complex financial analysis reports and completing individual analytical and ad-hoc projects with abstract guidelines. • Mentorship: You may serve as a mentor and evaluator for lower-level staff and assists other teams with financial matters as required. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of work experience) in Finance or Accounting. • 5+ years in an Accounting or Finance role, some of which is preferably in the manufacturing industry. • Microsoft Office Suite experience with Excel specific functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, and similar), logical statements, and string manipulation. • Power Query for transforming and automating data from various sources and expertise in PivotTables and Pivot Charts is also critical for data manipulation and analysis. • Experience with SAP Business Explorer (BEx) to create, edit, and audit queries. • Experience with tools like Qlik or Power BI is highly preferred. Compensation and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $73,500 to $122,500 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
