As a Program Controls Specialist here at Honeywell, you will manage and direct the control and oversight of various aspects of a project, such as scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting.
In this role, your impact will be substantial, as you are responsible for managing and overseeing the control, coordination, and oversight of various program and project management aspects. As a people leader at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and supporting our employees to help them perform at their best and drive change across the company.
**Location:** Puerto Rico
+ Supports program launch and program execution
+ Supports development of program plans
+ Prepare and publish metrics and reports
+ Track budget and program financial data
+ Track milestones and identify root cause
+ Analyze program performance metrics
+ Analyze cost and schedule integration
+ Develop EVM (Earned Value Management) Knowledge and Apply to Program
+ Supports program teams and stakeholders
+ Supports organizational feedback for utilized tools and process efficiencies
+ Complete required certification and application training
+ High attention to detail
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Business, Math, Finance or Economics or similar field
+ Must graduate December 2026 or later
+ Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
+ Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
+ Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
WE VALUE
+ Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
+ Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
+ Ability to work in a large and diverse team in a matrix-work environment.
+ User experience of SAP system.
+ User experience of Microsoft Project
+ Experience with financial data compilation, analysis and metrics management.
+ Experience in usage of Earned Value metrics, managing budgets and milestone fidelity.
Interning at Honeywell provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, professional development, and mentorship within a global organization. Interns will receive relocation benefits and short-term housing if they are 50 miles or more from their assigned work location (excluding Canada).
