    Special Education Teacher – Pre-KEarly Intervention / Itinerant Services

     

    Start Date: October 27, 2025

    Duration: 30 Weeks

    Schedule: Full-Time, In-Person | 37.5 hours/week

    Position Summary:

    Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacherto provide high-quality services to students in our Pre-K Early Interventionand Itinerant Services program. This full-time, in-person contractor rolesupports students with diverse learning needs and developmental challenges,working collaboratively with general education staff and the Special EducationProgram Administrator.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Deliver specialized instruction and support to Pre-K students with exceptional needs

    + Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

    + Provide tutorial assistance and consultation services

    + Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations

    + Participate in team planning and professional development

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university

    + Valid State Teaching Certificate (Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching preferred)

    + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

    + Certification in Early Childhood Exceptional Children Special Education , Early Childhood Education, and/or Special Education highly preferred

    + Minimum of one year of teaching experience preferred

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Additional Requirements:

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray as required)

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
