    Special Education Teacher | $54/hr Local | $2,260/week Travel | Full-Time | Boulder, CO Area | 2025–2026 School Year

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for a contract near Boulder, Colorado. This position begins ASAP and runs through the full 2025–2026 school year.

    Position Overview:

    + Location: Boulder, CO area

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Contract Length: Full 2025–2026 school year

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 student contact hours/week

    + Pay:

    + Local: $54/hr

    + Travel: $2,260/week (includes stipends)

    + Modality: In-person

    + Specialty: Special Education

    + Openings: 1

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide specialized instruction and support to K–12 students with IEPs

    + Collaborate with general education staff and participate in team planning

    + Deliver tutorial assistance and consultation

    + Maintain compliance with district and state standards

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Eligible to work in Colorado and obtain CO CDE Special Education Generalist License

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Valid teaching certificate (Special Education preferred)

    + One year of teaching experience (preferred)

    + LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

    + CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
