    Job Description

    Your Role at Raising Cane’s:

    The **Regional Leader of Growth (RLG)** is a field-based leader who leads a team of Area Leaders of Growth (ALGs) and is a critical part of the Regional Business Unit Support team. This leader is responsible for the ownership and successful execution of growth plans and new restaurant openings (NROs) within their designated markets.

     

    The physical work environment includes working in a fast-paced kitchen environment (which requires extended periods of physical exertion, such as walking, standing, lifting and bending) and interacting with customers. It also includes both inside and outside work in varied temperatures, working with and around food products, common allergens, industrial equipment, commercial cleaning products that require the use of personal protective equipment and physical activities necessary to complete the responsibilities of the job.

    Your Impact and Responsibilities:

    + Owns the planning and execution of growth strategies, including NRO deployment and staffing, to ensure market sufficiency and sustainable growth

    + Oversees and develops Area Leaders of Growth and other growth roles, ensuring their performance aligns with company standards and goals

    + Leads pre-opening planning and execution for new restaurants, including coordination with cross-functional teams

    + Partners with Business Unit Leaders and other stakeholders to address NRO performance and drive alignment on strategic growth initiatives

    + Directs growth planning activities, including recruitment, training, and marketing strategies, to optimize long-term operational success

    + Conducts regular performance evaluations, identifies development needs, and implements action plans to elevate the effectiveness of growth roles and teams

    + Reviews and monitors restaurant operations through visits to provide actionable feedback and support for improvements

    + Supports talent identification and succession planning efforts to build a pipeline of leadership within the Growth team

    + Ensures consistent communication and collaboration between growth roles and other field teams to maintain alignment with company objectives

    Qualifications

    Requirements for Success:

    + 6+ years of experience in a field-based role, with an emphasis on new restaurant openings and training experience required

    + Restaurant operations experience in a quick service or fast casual restaurant

    + Strong people management skills, with a proven record of leading, coaching, and developing a team

    + Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing

    + Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills

    + Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively

    + Able to recognize problems, set goals, create plans and convert plans into action to solve problems

    + Proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly

    + Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training

    + Must be 18 years of age or older

    + Able to travel up to 80% and required to live within assigned area

    + Possess a valid driver’s license

    + Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
