Our client is currently seeking a qualified **Level 1 Technician (Asset Management)** to join their team **onsite** in Raleigh, NC and provide end-user support. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Duties and Responsibilities** **:
+ Perform asset management for hardware, primarily laptops, recovery and tracking
+ Responsible for asset recovery, user follow-up, shipping logistics, and system updates
+ Manage 22,000+ PC assets due to organizational growth and integration
+ Manage increasing asset volume, especially end-user equipment (laptops)
+ Perform asset deployment, monitor asset activity
+ Perform user follow-up for inactive assets, and asset recovery after user termination or break/fix events
+ Document recovery process and outcomes for accurate reporting and metrics
Skills and Qualifications** **:
+ Minimum 2+ years of IT experience
+ Must be detail-oriented with experience in hardware and software asset management and worked on tools like ServiceNow
**Wage Range** :
The rate for this position is between **$22.50 - $33.00 per hour.** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
