Qualifications & Experience

•️** **What You’ll Do (aka: How You’ll Keep the Magic Running)

As the **Lead Technician** , you’ll play a vital role in making sure everything at the attraction runs smoothly, safely, and spectacularly. You’ll be the go-to expert for ensuring our rides, cinema, equipment, and special effects are always at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

+ 🛡️ Ensure the safety of all team members and guests.

+ 💡 Maintain and operate theatrical lighting systems, audio & video systems.

+ 🧰 Troubleshoot like a pro — solving problems quickly and creatively.

+ 📐 Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics & blueprints.

+ 🗣️ Communicate clearly, lead confidently, and stay organized.

+ 🔑 Oversee opening, operating, and closing procedures.

•** **Health & Safety:

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll follow all procedures, use tools and equipment only if trained, and report any incidents promptly.

• All new hires must obtain an **F03 Fireguard License** (don’t worry — we provide the training and cover the cost for the exam!).

•** **What You Bring:

+ 3–7+ years of hands-on experience in a **technical/themed environment** .

+ 2 years of technical college or equivalent experience.

+ A **self-starter mindset** with strong maintenance & troubleshooting skills.

+ Experience with a wide range of equipment, including rides and special effects.

+ Calm under pressure with top-tier service skills.

•️** **Work Environment:

+ Work inside or outside in various temperatures.

+ Occasionally exposed to chemicals, hazardous waste, loud environments, and specialized equipment.

+ This is a **hands-on** role with standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching required.

•** **Other Details:

+ 📆 Flexible schedule — evenings, weekends & holidays.

+ ✈️ Occasional travel may be required.

+ 🔁 Other duties as assigned.
