Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Capture Manager to perform strategy, business development, business capture, and portfolio management supporting the National Space (NS) GEOINT mission area. This role will support new business capture activities and strategic portfolio efforts. A successful candidate must have a strong technical background as well as customer focused, collaborative leadership qualities.
The National Space Strategic Business Unit works with members of the intelligence and defense communities to deliver space systems that drive mission success and provide resilient mission-level solutions to meet the customer s greatest challenges.
What You ll Do:
+ Support NS campaigns and strategies.
+ Collaborate across programs and pursuits to effect successful strategies in partnership with portfolio Directors.
+ Lead the pursuit of new business opportunities with a variety of defense and intelligence customers.
+ Support direct engagement with key government and industry customers.
+ Develop and carry out plans and strategies to capture new opportunities.
+ Manage cross functional teams to carry out capture plans and strategies, and to produce solutions that meet customer mission needs.
+ Lead the preparation of responses to customer opportunities, including white papers, proposals, rough order of magnitude estimates and responses to customer requests for information.
+ Coordinate inputs from support organizations including engineering, contracts, finance, security, and others as needed.
+ Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
+ Perform other duties as necessary.
**On-Site Work Environment:** This position requires regular in-person engagement by working **on-site five days** each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions:
+ Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ BS/BA in related field plus 12 years or more related experience.
+ Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
+ A current, active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required.
+ Demonstrated technical competence in any or all of the following: mission architecture, optics, focal plane arrays and focal plane subsystems, electro-optical remote sensing payload systems operating from visible to long wave infra-red, spacecraft bus systems and technologies.
+ Experience on classified design teams and new business capture activities in aerospace or related industry for defense and intelligence customers.
+ Excellent presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Excellent written communication and proposal writing skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Solid programmatic background within classified program environments for government or industry is a plus.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
