About this role
**The Heat Transfer Group** in Carrier’s Mechanical Center of Excellence is seeking a motivated, results-oriented and experienced **Sr. Engineer** to join our team. The candidate will be a key member of the team providing advanced heat exchanger solutions to Carrier’s global HVAC&R portfolio. The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to lead modeling-centered technology and product development. They will collaborate with other technology experts, modeling and simulation experts, product design groups, supply chain partners, and others to develop new opportunities to improve the performance, cost, and reliability of Carrier products.
Role Responsibilities:
+ Work with a diverse team of heat transfer experts.
+ Support technology and product development programs that will enable career growth.
+ Solve engineering problems critical to the reduction in energy use and carbon emissions.
+ Join the R&D sector of the leading global HVAC&R company.
Role Purpose:
+ Support technology and product development programs and deliver on-time solutions to customers.
+ Develop, validate, and deploy new heat exchanger technologies for Carrier’s current and growing range of products.
+ Identify and pursue innovation opportunities that improve efficiency, cost, reliability, and competitiveness of Carrier products.
+ Apply state-of-art design and simulation tools to optimize heat exchanger performance.
+ Work with cross functional product development teams to ensure successful insertion of new designs into Carrier products.
Basic Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree of science/art with 4+ years engineering experience.ORMaster’s degree of science/art with 2+ years engineering experience.ORPhD degree.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
+ Experience with:
+ Heat Exchange Design.
+ Heat Exchanger Fundamentals.
+ Heat Pumps.
+ Two Phase Flow.
+ Thermo-Dynamic Systems.
+ Vaper Compression systems.

Pay Range:
$77,500.00-$135,250.00
