Job Description
1. Maintain strict adherence to all company safety rules, regulations, procedures and practices
2. Maintain consistent compliance with company policies and procedures as they relate to proper completion of departmental documentation (i.e., timecards, work orders, various logs)
3. Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times. This applies to the individual as well as his/her truck, tools, and equipment as well as customer property
4. Supervise and coordinate work activities for electrical mechanics, apprentices and helpers
5. Discuss labor and material requirements with supervisor
6. Evaluate work in progress to ensure electrical services performed are meeting schedule, budget, and quality standards
7. Diagnosis causes of equipment breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components; primary area of expertise is systems requiring average technical skills on electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
8. Perform preventive maintenance and inspection tasks as defined in each maintenance agreement maintaining strict adherence to all budget objectives; obtain clearly defined directives from the Service Coordinator on the specific tasks to be performed; assist the Coordinator in scheduling inspections based on specific project logistics (i.e., man-power, location, material pick up)
9. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills and Requirements
1. Knowledge of current NEC Code and OSHA safety regulations
2. Possess industry experience in the same field or 10-years’ experience working as an Electrician
3. Ability to read trade specific blueprints and technical diagrams
4. Ability to work independently without direct supervision
5. Ability to coordinate and perform multiple activities in a timely manner
6. Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and remain calm when handling emergencies
7. Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with customers
8. Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy, make decisions based on measurable criteria and comprehend technical data
9. Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand. Unscheduled overtime may be required, as necessary
