    Job Description

    One of Insight Global's clients is seeking a Server Administrator. This resource will be responsible for implementing part or all of the technical solution for clients, ensuring alignment with the agreed technical design. This role will involve leading small to medium-sized technical projects, coordinating resources and timelines to deliver effective infrastructure solutions. The administrator will also be responsible for providing technical support and strategic input on how server technologies can be applied to meet the needs of a defined business segment. Additionally, the role includes producing and maintaining technical documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and continuity across systems and projects. Candidates must be within 50 miles of Harrisburg, PA.

    Compensation:

    $40/hr to $46/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

    - Strong Windows Server Administration and Support experience

    o Up to date with modern versions of Windows (2019, 2022, etc.)

    o Experience reviewing log files for monitoring and troubleshooting

    - Proven experience in VMWare and Hyper-V environments

    o Building virtual servers and troubleshooting them as needed

    o Comfortable looking at vSphere to determine if server is down

     

    - Experience with Microsoft Active Directory for managing users and accounts

     

    - Experience with GPO (Group Policy Object) for managing and enforcing settings

     

    - Experience troubleshooting within Microsoft IIS (internet information services) - Knowledge of DNS

     

    - Experience with Linux (server builds)

     

    - Hands-on experience within Azure
