    Job Description

    Our client in the banking industry is seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer or Architect to lead efforts to support their Resiliency Program. This role will be instrumental in designing resilient systems, identifying single point of failure (SPOFs), and support the implementation of proactive alerting mechanisms. The ideal candidate will collaborate across business, production support, and engineering teams to define alert thresholds, service level objectives (SLOs), and ensure transactional data flows are well understood and monitored.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience in system design or reliability engineering

    • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and distributed systems

    • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like New Relic or DataDog

    • Strong analytical skills and experience with incident root cause analysis

    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering · Experience with chaos engineering or failure injection testing

    • Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks

    • Certification in cloud architecture or SRE practices
