    Job Title: Labor and Employee (LER) Relations

    We are seeking skilled Federal Labor and Employee Relations (LER) personnel to support a Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) contract.

     

    This position is on-site 5 days/week at the FHFA office located at 400 7th Street SW, Washington, DC and is metro-accessible from L'Enfant Plaza station. This position does not allow for telework or remote flexibility.

    Requirements:

    Work that involvesproviding advice and assistance to employees and managers, program administration, research, andcase management in matters related toconduct, performance management, attendance, and dispute resolution.

     

    Work that involvesdrafting counseling, reprimands, suspensions, and removals.

     

    Work that involves establishing and maintaining effective relationships, including the use of non-traditional collaborative approaches, working cooperatively with the Office of General Counsel and the Office of Equal Opportunity and Fairness.

     

    Providingguidance and consultationto management on a variety ofemployee and labor relations matters.

     

    May be required to conductinvestigations or fact-findings.

     

    May also be required to review and update policies.

     

    Work Schedule & Environment

     

    On-site full time at FHFA Office, Monday through Friday. No telework/remote flexibility.
