Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural** **hospital located** **in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Responsibilities:

+ Maintains all hospital campus, clinics, outlying properties including but not limited to grounds, including park and all landscape areas

+ Working knowledge and upkeep, vehicles - service and cleaning, equipment maintenance

+ Sprinkler system

+ General maintenance duties

Requirements:

+ Valid IA driver's license

+ Must be a caring communicator and have a positive, team-player attitude

+ HS Diploma or equivalent required

+ Flexibility to work before or after hours for snow events or off hour projects

Schedule:

+ 72 hours a pay period

+ M-F, 7a-3:30p

+ On-call every 9 weeks

+ The schedule will fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
