    Quality Specialist – Aerospace Industry

    Are you a detail-oriented quality professional with a passion for precision and excellence? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Quality Specialist** to support aerospace manufacturing operations in **Colorado Springs, CO** . This **full-time consultant role (9 months)** offers a dynamic environment where your expertise in inspections and quality assurance will directly contribute to industry-leading aerospace products.

    What You'll Do:

    + Lead **corrective action boards with suppliers** and validate root cause and corrective actions.

    + Conduct **receiving and production inspections** to ensure compliance with blueprints, specifications, and standards.

    + Utilize **precision measuring instruments** (micrometers, gauges, calipers) to inspect manufactured products and materials.

    + Make **quality acceptance decisions** based on documentation and workmanship criteria.

    + Maintain **organized inspection records** and document product discrepancies per company procedures.

    + Read, interpret, and apply **quality policies, blueprints, and GD&T** principles.

    + Complete **First Article Inspections (FAI)** and support multiple product lines.

    + Provide guidance on quality and inspection questions while managing **multiple tasks** to meet schedule needs.

    What We’re Looking For:

    Required Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma (or 1 year of relevant experience without a diploma).

    + Ability to **pass an eye exam and color test** (with or without corrective lenses).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Proficiency in **blueprint reading and GD&T** .

    + Knowledge of **AS9102, First Article Inspection & Final Inspection processes** .

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    + Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, databases); **SAP experience and NDT knowledge are a plus** .

    + Strong **organizational, accuracy, and communication skills** .

    **Pay Details:** $27.88 to $32.08 per hour
