The Opportunity:
Provide support to the Office of Space Launch (OSL) and United States Space Force (USSF) under the Mission Assurance Support Contract (MASC). The MASC program provides Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), Telemetry Operations and Launch Display System in support of the OSL and USSF space launch capability.
Responsibilities:
Tasks are not limited to Telemetry Systems and may include other software tasks to support the MASC program such as Trajectory Simulator development, flight software interface development and other utility software development tasks.
This position offers a hybrid work option, with the ability to work remotely up to four days per week and at least one day in-office.
Qualifications:
_Required:_
+ Education: Bachelor of Science Computer Science or similar
+ Experience: Avionics telemetry processing experience a plus
+ Programming Languages C++, JAVA, Python, Matlab, FORTRAN
+ Agile software development
+ Object oriented design
+ Strong mathematics skills
+ Comfortable using standard Windows and Office tools
+ Effective communication skills, both written and oral
+ Able to digest new technical information at a rapid pace for practical use.
+ Appropriate time management capabilities - able to both pace workload and provide feedback to leads on task progress
+ Eagerness to improve efficiency and streamline work procedures
+ Current or ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance with Poly
_Desired:_
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio
+ Eclipse IDE
+ Familiarity with the Atlassian toolset (JIRA/Confluence)
+ Matlab IDE
+ Real-time programming
+ TCP/IP, IP multicast programming experience

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
The proposed salary range for this position is:
$58,000-$115,900
