Job Summary:
In this role, the Technical Publications Data and Systems project lead will be the digital technology focal who is responsible for providing system support services as it relates to the creation and sustainment of technical publications for Pratt & Whitney military engines as well as leading the organization’s strategy and execution plan to align and modernize how we support our internal Pratt & Whitney (P&W) customers along with our domestic and foreign partners.
This position has responsibility for software application support and development, system requirement definition, publishing of content, and digital data deliveries for the Military Customer Support and Services (MCS&S) organization. They will play a critical role in ensuring the organization has the proper tools and applications in place to meet program milestones and delivery requirements.
What You Will Do:
+ Develop, review, and provide feedback on detailed documentation that describes technology reasons, roadmaps, requirements, and the relationship between people, process, and the technology components as it relates to modernizing new or existing systems used for authoring, publishing, and distributing technical publications.
+ Champion strategic planning to ensure technology obsolescence is continually assessed.
+ Define and manage technology roadmap as it pertains to business and customer needs and align those needs with the latest industry standards and technology.
+ Define and implement Model Based Enterprise (MBE) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) into our technical data value stream.
+ Communicate and manage relationships with internal teams and key product vendors.
+ Develop partnerships with multiple leaders across the organization ensuring solutions development and strategic initiatives are considered part of a single cohesive vision.
+ Project manage large conversion projects to ensure contractual requirements are met on time and within budget.
+ Responsible for leading the team in continually making improvements to existing processes, systems development, or product integration.
+ Define needs of customers for expanded use of digital data that integrates with USAF systems to deliver revisions efficiently and timely, including delivery of data through the customer portal and engage with the Engineering value stream to improve quality of digital data flow.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelor’s Degree from ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) in STEM or Information/Digital Technologies with 10+ years of Engineering experience, or 7+ years with an advanced degree. Experience to include leading teams in technology environments, either in IT/DT, Engineering, or other STEM discipline environment and experience with IT products and services such as computer storage, infrastructure, networking, databases, and user administration.
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

+ Able to think logically and analytically in an agile problem-solving environment to understand complex issues, develop effective solutions, and drive to timely resolution.
+ Knowledge and understanding of technical publication requirements pertaining to military and S1000D
+ Strong understanding of database and data structure and how to utilize that data for reporting performance-based metrics.
+ Exceptional customer service experience and ability to communicate effectively with P&W customers, suppliers, and partners.
+ Experience leading teams and managing multiple priorities in parallel where you are directly or indirectly responsible for affecting the work while having influence across functional organizations.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in systems development, understanding of systems engineering development lifecycle, and architecture frameworks.
+ Demonstrated effective communication skills, with ability to influence and drive change.
+ Able to implement industry trends and new technology to drive process improvements.
+ Strong understanding of database and data structure and how to utilize that data for reporting performance-based metrics.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
