What You Will Do
This Repair Design Engineer (RDE) position is with the Aftermarket and Sustainment Engineering Military Repair Group. The RDE is responsible for the development of repairs for the F135 program, and includes development of the repair concept, writing of the repair, obtaining approvals, and coordination with the end user.
+ Participate in a multi-discipline team to establish repair design requirements and ensure repairs are safe, durable, and meet the quality requirements of the OEM parts.
+ Create technical documents that provide engineering requirements for repairs.
+ Continue to develop an improved personal understanding of the technologies, engine systems, business systems, regulations, and business needs of the sector. Also, foster an environment of creative technical ownership within the collaborative community of Global Services Engineering.
+ Provide onsite audits for repair Suppliers and Overhaul Depots in support of repair Source Demonstration and Tooling qualifications.
+ Support the Customer in the resolution of field supportability issues.
+ 10% Travel
What You Will Learn
+ This position is a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP participants will complete three to four rotations to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program.
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)
+ Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
Qualifications We Prefer
+ Experience with manufacturing processes such as, machining, plating, plasma spray, welding or brazing
+ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

**Onsite** : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
