Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule IR procedures, collaborating closely with physicians, referring offices, and patients.• Review patient charts to ensure all required labs, imaging, and medical clearances are complete prior to procedures.• Serve as the main patient contact, providing education, answering questions, and advocating for their care.• Collaborate with nurses, technologists, and physicians to maintain efficient workflow within the department.• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with department initiatives or quality improvement projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.• Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required.

• Experience: three to five years of nursing exerience, required. Two years of experience in care of targeted patient population; experience in a broad range of clinical situations or settings, preferred (Background in Radiology and/or scheduling, preferred).
