Job Description

Job Summary:

Senior Accountant role that will perform at a senior level supporting our Bozeman, MT, and Freeport, PA site reporting into the Cost Accounting Manager for the Surveillance Division and under guidance of Finance VP of Surveillance. This role will require an individual to work independently and provide all aspects of accounting (G/L and Costing) for the sites as assigned. Works closely with the local GM and provide finance support to the Teams in Bozeman and Freeport, as well as an advisory role to PMI under current reporting and accounting structures.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Perform period, quarter and year end close activities: cost center reviews, journal entries, costing activities including variance analysis

+ Overhead analysis and other analytical data

+ Budget preparation for entire financial package for the sites; revenue, margin, cost centers

+ Prepare standard costing labor and overhead rates; update standard costs as needed and roll standards

+ Prepare analytical data as needed for Site Leads

+ Assign g/l coding and approve purchase orders

+ Other duties as required

+ Prepare weekly forecast updates

+ CRM updates

+ E&O calculation for sites

+ Assist with Fixed Asset audit

+ Oversee physical inventory in Bozeman location

+ Internal reporting to site GMs

+ Assist resolving a/p & material team discrepancies

+ Prepare information for surveys both corporate and governmental for sites and coordinate with other SURV sites to make sure there’s no duplication

Job Qualifications:

+ BS in Accounting or Finance

+ Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment

+ Strong excel and communication skills required

+ SAP experience preferred
