• Engineering Technician

    BASIC POSITION DUTIES :

    + Perform engineering floor support, routine engineering tasks and assist in various engineering projects.

    JOB DUTIES :

    + Assist in the design and implementation methods of processes to improve product quality and manufacturing.

    + Trouble shoots problems in equipment and or process to affect timely solutions and maintain continuity of production flow.

    + Assist in monitoring and debugging new methods and processes to ensure desired results.

    + Support continuous improvements and APS activities.

    + Performs other related duties as required.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

    + Two-year technical degree or comparable technical experience, plus at least 2 years engineering/technical experience in a manufacturing environment.

    SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE DESIRED :

    + PLC experience required.

    + Knowledge of engineering systems & methods in manufacturing.

    + Ability to work in a team environment.

    + Working knowledge of safety & environmental considerations.

    + Strong oral & written communications.

    + Proficiency with P.C. based software.

    + Willingness to stay on a problem through completion.
