    What We Offer

     

    The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing Novant Health’s workforce development and academic partnership initiatives. This role will focus on supporting and expanding educational and talent pipeline programs designed to strengthen our future workforce and partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem.

     

    This position requires a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment—someone who can seamlessly balance administrative coordination, project management, and relationship-building. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for education, workforce strategy, and continuous improvement in talent development.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Program Coordination & Development:

    + Support the design, launch, and management of academic and workforce development programs, including internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing and observations, and student pipeline initiatives.

    + Assist in developing curriculum and learning experiences to connect students and emerging talent to healthcare career pathways.

    + Partner with internal stakeholders, community partners and academic institutions to ensure program alignment with organizational needs and workforce goals.

    + Relationship Management:

    + Build and maintain strong partnerships with academic entities, school systems, and state workforce development partners.

    + Act as a liaison across departments, fostering collaboration between HR and external partners.

    + Navigate conversations with diverse stakeholders and initiate strategic discussions to drive program success.

    + Project & Data Management:

    + Support the HR Executive Team and Workforce Development leaders in executing multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously.

    + Track budgets, grants, and program data using advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, and reporting).

    + Assist with grant proposals, responses, and reporting; experience with state or federal workforce grants is a plus.

    + Manage shared inbox communications, project timelines, and deliverables for multiple teams.

    + Operational Support:

    + Provide administrative and project coordination support for workforce and academic initiatives.

    + Monitor program performance, report outcomes, and make recommendations for process improvements.

    + Develop efficient processes, project templates, presentation/event materials, and resources to support workforce development initiatives.

    + Support strategic efforts to enhance efficiency and scalability of programs, assist with project tracking.

    Qualifications

    + Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.

    + Experience:

    + One year Project management experience, required.

    + One year Budget Management, related healthcare industry, communications, and/or human resources experience required; experience may include coordinating large-scale, enterprise-wide project, preferred.

    + One year Artificial Intelligence, IT experience, preferred.

    + Licensure/Certification:

    + PMP Project Management Certification, preferred.

    + RN License in the state of North Carolina, preferred.

    + Additional Skills (required):

    + Advanced experience with MSOffice, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

    + Proficient with one or more of the following tools, iCIMS, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, Infor, PowerBi, Tableau.

    + Experience analyzing budget data with attention to accurate data and calculations.

    + Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with a view of inclusion and belonging.

    + Analytical, consulting, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.

    + Action oriented, willing to do what is needed in order to move projects forward in an organized manner with consistent execution.

    + Strong digital fluency.

    + Relationship management skills that include listening and consultative abilities, as well as the ability to establish credible relationships with business partners to drive change.

    + Experience managing highly sensitive and confidential information.

    + Additional Skills (preferred):

    + Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative drive for reaching the next great idea and exceeding goals.

    + Intellectual depth, moral integrity, personal vision, creativity, leadership skills, fortitude, sincerity and diplomacy.

    + Ability to work independently and as a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside of Novant Health.

    + Bilingual in Spanish / English.
