Here’s what you’d do:
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for testing the quality and stability of BrightView’s software applications. This position collaborates closely with technical teams, including Application Developers and Business Analysts, to understand technical requirements and develop appropriate test plans and documentation.
You’d be responsible for
+ Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications and systems.
+ Lead and support all phases of quality testing, including functional, regression, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
+ Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into testable scenarios.
+ Assist in the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and scripts.
+ Provide feedback and recommendations to improve software quality and development processes.
+ Ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices.
+ Support the development of enterprise application training and support materials.
You might be a good fit if you have:
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred.
+ 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
+ Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
+ Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
+ Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, Postman).
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
