Direct Hire 1st shift Tool & Die Maker

**Location:** Wadsworth, OH

**Hours:** 1st shift - flexible start - 10 hour shifts

Monday-Friday

**Pay:** $30-39 per hour based on experience

FULL BENEFITS

**Kelly Services** is hiring for a **full-time Tool and Die Maker** on **1st shift** in Wadsworth, OH. This role supports production by providing precision machining, tooling maintenance, and fabrication expertise.

Key Responsibilities

+ Maintain and repair tooling (punches, dies, etc.)

+ Read and interpret complex blueprints and job route plans

+ Troubleshoot die wear and breakage issues

+ Fabricate new dies, jigs, fixtures, and machine components

+ Reverse engineer parts as needed

+ Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

+ Operate mills, lathes, and other machining equipment

+ Collaborate with engineering and production teams on design/methods

+ Follow all safety protocols

Requirements

+ **5+ years** of hands-on experience in tool and die maintenance

+ **Apprenticeship certification** preferred

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

+ Proficiency with measurement instruments

+ Must pass interview, testing, drug screen, and background check

+ Ability to work **Monday–Friday** , with overtime as needed
