Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and skilled **Facilities Technician** to support day-to-day maintenance operations at our manufacturing and office facility in **Fort Worth** . This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining building systems—including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical—in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with broad technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient facility. This role includes preventative and corrective maintenance, equipment moves, vendor coordination, and emergency response when needed.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform routine maintenance and repair on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

+ Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner.

+ Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement repairs efficiently.

+ Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address potential issues.

+ Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers as needed.

+ Assist in moving equipment and setting up spaces for events or operational needs.

+ Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts usage in CMMS (SAP).

+ Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

+ Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S principles.

+ Support emergency repairs and be available for occasional overtime, weekend, or on-call coverage.

Required Qualifications

+ Prior experience as a facilities technician or maintenance mechanic in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

+ Knowledge of building systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.

+ Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

+ Proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.

+ Familiarity with maintenance management software (CMMS experience preferred).

+ Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

+ Able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.

+ Flexible availability including willingness to work overtime or respond to after-hours issues.
