    _Available shifts for Security Officers will include 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays._

     

    Monday to Friday and/or day shift positions are not available.

    Security Officer Minimum Requirements:

    + Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for an Illinois PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.

    + **_Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and walk up/down flights of stairs. This position is about_** **_75% to 80% standing/walking_** **_._**

    + This position will be up to about **_75% to 80% of the time outside_** .

    + Valid Driver's License and clean driving record **needed** . This is a driving position. **(All our positions include driver certification).**

    + Have reliable transportation(Public transportation is not available at most work site locations).

    + Will need to be available from 1:00pm to 7:00am.

    + Will need to be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during hours of 1:00pm to 7:00am.

    + Will need to be available all holidays.

    + Have reliable working communication device ( _cell phone_ ).

    + Have a minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, **or** willing to complete a GED program.

    + Average computer skills needed, above average computer skills a plus.

    + Have the legal right to work in the United States.

    + Ability to speak, read, and write English.

    + Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.

    + Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.

    + Must have great diligence and remain vigilant throughout shift.

    + Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid effective judgment and use proper de-escalation.

    + Customer service experience preferred.

    + Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a **_PLUS_** !!
