    About the Role:

    As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will oversee a large portfolio of retail and commercial office properties throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. This role blends on-site leadership with remote operational oversight, ensuring the effective management of facility operations, vendor partnerships, budgetary controls, and regulatory compliance across a diverse asset base.

     

    This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Travel within the local DFW market to multiple sites weekly.

    + Work onsite or in the field 2–3 days per week, with remote flexibility when not required on-site.

    + Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients; attend meetings to address facility issues.

    + Coordinate, oversee, and lead repair and maintenance activities performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors for building systems, landscaping, and janitorial services.

    + Review work orders for completion and quality assurance.

    + Perform facility inspections and prepare reports to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

    + Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.

    + Manage environmental health and safety procedures for all facilities.

    + Prepare and manage annual operating budgets (up to $7M), capital projects, and variance reports.

    + Acquire and review price quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor.

    + Conduct financial and business analysis, including report preparation.

    + Coordinate and manage moves, adds, and changes within facilities.

    + Lead capital projects from planning through execution.

    + Oversee vendor relationships, provide training on work order and billing procedures, and ensure accurate invoice processing and cost center coding.

    + Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.

    + Utilize PC and/or PDA for work order systems, email, ESS, and training tools.

    + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

    + Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

    + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

    What You’ll Need:

    + Must have a valid Drivers License.

    + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.

    + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

    + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

    + Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

    + Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

    + Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
