    About the Role:

    As a CBRE Regional Facilities Manager, you will lead and oversee the operations and maintenance of high-rise commercial office buildings and multi-campus complexes across the Texas region. This includes managing multiple sites within the DFW metroplex as well as properties in Austin and Houston.

     

    In this highly client-facing role, you will ensure optimal building performance, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client satisfaction. The position requires strong leadership capabilities, advanced budgeting and financial management skills, and the ability to prioritize and execute across a diverse portfolio of properties.

     

    You will manage a facilities management team while working onsite from a central location in downtown Dallas, providing strategic direction and operational oversight across all sites.

    What You'll Do:

    + Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.

    + Lead and manage facilities operations across a multi-site portfolio across Texas, including high-rise and campus-style buildings.

    + Support the Facilities Management team in monitoring and managing work orders.

    + Participate in construction and architectural calls for new developments taking place in your region.

    + Prepare and present monthly forecasting and variance reports.

    + Perform duties including vendor management, compliance oversight, and operational excellence.

    + Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service delivery.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless facility operations.

    + Manage a facilities team, including Facility Coordinators, Facilities Managers, and a Senior Facilities Manager.

    + Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

    + Maintain organization and efficiency during travel and remote work.

    + Prepare and manage large and high-profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.

    + Travel at least 25% of the time in your designated region in the Southeastern United States.

    + Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients. Conduct regular meetings regarding regional facilities' performance.

    + Report on property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, etc.

    + Develop policies and procedures to ensure that contract specifications are fulfilled.

    + Prepare presentations to obtain approval for projects.

    + Create strategic facility management objectives for clients. Generate capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.

    + Inspect the facility periodically for quality assurance. Ensure facility procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

    + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

    + Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

    + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

    What You'll Need:

    + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

    + Excellent leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

    + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    + Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
