Job Summary and Qualifications
The Administrative Director ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the performance and results of multiple sites and/or multiple functional areas. The Administrative Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and directs the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility and/or market objectives.
+ You will cultivate a superior clinical identity by identifying and implementing evidence-based practices to advance patient safety and quality outcomes. Ensures adherence to standards of care.
+ You will manage variation in clinical practice to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost. Ensure a culture of accountability and transparency in the provision of care.
+ You will stay abreast of internal/external benchmarks, accreditations, and designations and actively pursues efforts to achieve.
+ You will stay abreast of legal and regulatory standards and ensures compliance. Develop and implements policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with all legal/regulatory standards.
+ You will lead the development and implementation of patient throughput strategies, including capacity planning, volume forecasting, patient flow coordination, and admission/discharge planning.
+ You will direct nursing practice and unit operations. Develop policies, procedures, and nursing standards to ensure patient and family needs are assessed, met, and evaluated.
+ You will provide leadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patient experience. Instills accountability for providing consistent, positive patient interactions that differentiate the organization as a healthcare leader.
+ You will leverage various feedback mechanisms to benchmark performance and identify opportunities to improve customer/patient satisfaction. Develop and implement strategies to elevate the patient experience.
+ You will provide leadership to execute a strategic roadmap designed to enhance patient experience and achieve optimal outcomes.
+ You will collaborate with subject matter experts and patient experience leaders to ensure compliance with evidence-based practices that enhance patient experience and customer service.
+ You will foster a culture that inspires commitment to the vision/mission/values of the organization. Ensure employees are recognized, valued, and supported. Develop and implements strategies to elevate employee engagement.
+ You will identify development opportunities or training needs of individual employees and teams. Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance.
+ You will build a competitively superior organization through attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining talent. Ensure people with the right skills and motivations are in the right role, at the right time, to meet business needs.
+ You will collaborate with administrative team and physicians to enhance existing services or develop new service offerings.
+ You will identify opportunities for expansion or development of new services and product lines to promote growth. Identify stakeholder engagement strategies, technology advances, and other opportunities to drive differentiation and increase volume.
+ You will stay abreast of external factors and opportunities impacting healthcare, including political and legislative changes, reimbursement trends, and advances in healthcare delivery. Understand the competitive landscape and ensures service line is positioned strategically to respond to changing healthcare dynamics and market environments.
+ You will represent the organization positively within the community; participates in company-supported community/patient events and in-services.
+ You will participate in the annual budget process, including input into department revenue and expense forecasts, staffing, and supply and equipment needs. Monitor department budget performance; identify trends and evaluate variances in relation to established budget. Develop and implement actions to address performance gaps.
+ You will ensure effective labor management, including position control, scheduling excellence, productivity management, and premium pay utilization. Maintain staffing to ensure appropriate patient care.
+ You will manage operating expenses, including the utilization of supplies and equipment. Identify cost reduction opportunities and implements actions to achieve savings.
What qualifications you will need:
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ BSN preferred
+ MS preferred
+ 3+ years in healthcare required
+ 3+ years in a leadership role required
+ TX RN license
+ BLS
+ ACLS
