You will monitor patients remotely with our 7 hospitals

Must live or be willing to relocate to Denver.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Virtual Patient Safety Attendant (VSA) participates in high-quality, patient-centered care by providing continuous observation and monitoring for high-risk patients. The VSA functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at HealthONE/HCA Healthcare.

+ You will always maintain a direct line of sight with patients, including while family and/or visitors are in the room.

+ You will establish a safe, risk-free patient environment by utilizing knowledge of fall prevention protocols, infection control measures, and self-harm prevention.

+ You will monitor the patient’s physical and emotional condition.

+ You will report any changes in status promptly while remaining in direct line of sight with the patient.

+ You will Intervenes as needed to prevent patient from harming self or others.

+ You will seek immediate assistance in escalating incidents.

Requirements:

Must live or be willing to relocate to Denver. This is an on-site job.

+ High school diploma/GED required.

+ Minimum of at least six months of experience in a clinical setting.

+ Demonstrates good organizational skills.

+ Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Values & Standards.

+ Displays appropriate judgment and problem-solving skills.

+ Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
