The **Expressive Therapist/Clinician** hybrid position provides inpatient and residential group treatment and individual clinical case management to support individuals experiencing mental illness, inclusive of eating disorders.

Responsibilities Include:
+ Conduct six groups a week and document group attendance and activity in the medical record and individualized treatment plan.
+ Carry a caseload of a maximum of 4 cases at a time as a clinical case manager for both adolescent and adult clients.
+ Participate in daily treatment team meetings as time allows, and communicate daily with members of the treatment teams on patient progress and
+ Conduct the Expressive Therapy consultations as needed, at the discretion of your supervisor. Review content and share pertinent information with the treatment team and program staff.
+ Develop and update the group syllabus for skills-based, process-oriented, and educational
+ Participate in clinician and group leader weekend tasks, at a maximum of one weekend day a month, with a flexible weekday off in compensation (“comp day”) to be applied in agreement with your supervisor
+ Collect outcome and quality data as required for reports; prepare required reports as
+ Work with clinical teams to ensure clients have access to and are participating in pro-social
+ Attend required supervision meetings, staff
+ Teach group skills and therapeutic content to students, interns, and program staff as
+ Assist the treatment team in coordinating referrals for internal and external
+ Document all client encounters and progress, completing necessary reports, and maintaining up- to-date client
Qualifications:
Education:
+ Master’s Degree, required, and training in Dance/Movement Therapy
Experience:
+ Experience providing direct clinical care in a group modality in a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorder or inpatient psychiatric setting
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a mental health setting
Licensure/Certification:
+ LCSW, LMHC, PsyD requiring supervision is ok
+ CPR certification, required
Knowledge:
+ Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships processes, age-specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors.
+ Demonstrated capacity to make sound clinical decisions and manage crises
+ Knowledge of behavioral health, including group treatment modalities
+ Crisis management skills and group intervention skills with clients
+ Strong clinical and patient counseling skills
+ Ability to work as a member of a team
+ Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
