Position Summary
Provides clinical services and therapy for clients impacted by behavioral health and substance use disorders.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Provides behavioral health and substance misuse clinical services for adults.
Maintains compliance with all standards of JCAHO, Department of Health, regulatory agencies, and specialty recommendations.
Maintains Patient Safety.
Completes Documentation of Care.
Maintains Professional Development.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
Experience in behavioral health services and substance use in adults.
License, Registry or Certification:
Required:
License eligible in Mental Health Field by the State of New Jersey.
Preferred:
NJ License LAC or LSW
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:
Clinical training in psychotherapy and substance use. Ability to work with impaired adults. Must have the ability to facilitate groups. Experience in Crisis Intervention. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to organize and prioritize, works effectively in stressful situations
