    As an Associate Planner you will be the** **foundation for career growth within the production scheduling team. The Associate Production Scheduler plays a key role in supporting our supply chain team by contributing to the efficient production scheduling process. This position is responsible for collaborating with senior schedulers, analyzing inventory levels, and ensuring the timely execution of production schedules. The primary purpose is to assist in the coordination of varied activities to ensure the production of high-performance products with the quality, delivery, and cost to meet customer’s requirements.

    **Education:** -

     

    Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain, Operations Management or other business discipline required.-

     

    ASCM/APICS certification preferred.-

     

    2-5 years of direct and relevant manufacturing procurement experience required.-

    Job Functions:

    + Sources appropriate vendors for materials and services required by all departments.

    + Enter, maintain and track all purchase orders (for both Direct and Indirect Materials) to ensure suppliers meet commitment dates.

    + Negotiate best price/service mix to meet internal customer supply/service needs.

    + Expedite emergency purchase orders when required to support production schedules and facility demands.

    + Effectively communicates to all concerned parties any supply issues affecting customer service.

    + Oversee adjustments with vendors involving replacement of materials/services not meeting specified standards.

    + Develop a “Total Cost of Ownership” (TCO) approach for all purchased goods

    + Work with customer service and operations to provide forecasts to vendors to ensure components available to support orders.

    + Manage outside contract manufacturers to minimize inventory investment and maximize service.

    + Monitor supplier market conditions to estimate cost trends and product availability to ensure that positive factors are optimized, and negative factors are minimized respectively.

    + Develop cost savings projects to meet corporate defined goals and adhere to established KPI objectives

    + Measure supplier quality and provide feedback to suppliers on results.

    + Accountable for the following Metrics,

    + PPV (Purchase Price Variance)

    + Supplier On Time Delivery

    + Open Purchase Order Report / Safety Stock Levels

    + Provide leadership and accountability ensuring growth in expertise and knowledge.

    + Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EHS and QMS requirements

    + Work closely with Research & Development (R&D) on new product introductions to Plan and Procure all Materials needs.
