    How You’ll Contribute:

    Provide technical and operational support for live productions, media recording, and audiovisual operations in a secure federal broadcast and conferencing environment. Ensure the flawless execution of mission-critical events, manages AV systems, and delivers high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure system readiness and compliance with operational and security requirements.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Set up and operate AV and broadcast equipment for live, recorded, virtual, and hybrid productions (cameras, microphones, a/v consoles, lighting, teleprompters, displays).

    + Integrate virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, WebEx, VTC) into broadcast workflows.

    + Monitor and adjust live audio/video signals for quality, redundancy, and security.

    + Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot A/V and broadcast systems, as well as document configurations and recovery procedures.

    + Record and archive media, ensuring compliance with retention standards.

    + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior operators and lead large-scale productions as applicable.

    + Adhere to and help refine operating procedures and support equipment modernization.

    + Deliver excellent customer service and prepare reports and briefings as required.

    + Respond to surge requirements, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

     

    Work Schedule & Requirements

     

    + M onday–Friday, flexible shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)

    + On-call coverage for evenings, weekends, holidays

    + Fully on-site at a secure federal facility in the Washington D.C. area.

    What You’ll Bring:

    Education & Certifications:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Required Skills/Qualifications:

    + Must have a minimum of active interim security clearance and ability to obtain/maintain active TS/SCI clearance.

    + Minimum of five (5) years of progressive, hands-on experience in audiovisual operations, broadcast production, or technical event support.

    + 2+ years with broadcast-quality AV systems setup and operation (audio, video, lighting, teleprompter, live switching, graphics).

    + Expertise in operating and configuring professional AV equipment and virtual/hybrid meeting platforms.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform under pressure.

    + Excellent communication skills with proven ability to manage tasks and direction in high-profile environments.

    Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

    + Government or large-scale broadcast experience.

    + Relevant technical certifications preferred (CTS, Dante, Ross XPression, Crestron/AMX).

    + Knowledge of industry standards (SMPTE, AES, ITU) and secure AV operations.
