    Our client, a leader in logistics and transportation, is seeking a Freight Clerk to join their team. As a Freight Clerk, you will be part of the Logistics department supporting various operational functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Freight Clerk

    **Location:** AUSTIN, MN

    **Pay Range:** $19.00 per hour

    **Shift:** Monday – Friday, 40 hours

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Maintain late truck email: Communicate late delivery information and provide follow-up correspondence per department procedures.

    + Work closely with the Appointment Coordinator to alert necessary personnel of potential late trucks as identified by track and trace.

    + Communicate any WM/Sam’s issues with deliveries to the WM vendor Management team.

    + Run Wal-Mart appointment verification daily and cross-check AS 400.

    + Administer late coding for late customer deliveries and track/report per period.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Must be detail-oriented.

    + Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

    + Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel - data entry.
