Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Assistant Production Manager to join their team. As an Assistant Production Manager, you will be part of the industrial operations supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of management principles, and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Location:** Pittsburg, KS

Pay Range: 50-60K

Shift: Days

What's the Job?

+ Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.

+ Apply behavioral science principles to understand team dynamics and drive positive change.

+ Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily shop activities to meet production goals.

+ Monitor workflow, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of products.

+ Support implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

+ Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

+ Proficiency in shop math, risk management, project management, and product management.

+ Strong leadership and management skills with a focus on industrial leadership.

+ Educational background with a Bachelor's or Associate's degree.

+ Ability to work Monday through Friday, supporting a consistent work schedule.
