Our client, a leader in facility management and maintenance services, is seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** Facility Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Queenstown, MD

**Pay Range:** $32.69

**Shift:** Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm (more aligned with first shift), on call for emergencies

What's the Job?

+ Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to ensure facility standards are met.

+ Maintain responsibility for preventative maintenance, inventory control, and contracted maintenance services.

+ Inspect, calibrate, and replace parts to optimize HVAC and related equipment performance.

+ Record system readings and make necessary adjustments for proper operation.

+ Adhere to safety policies for hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

What's Needed?

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent.

+ 0-2 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.

+ Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.

+ EPA 608 Type II Certification required; EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.

+ Proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel.
