• Brake Press Operator/Laborer

    Our client, a growing medical equipment manufacturer in Johnstown, PA, is seeking a Brake Press Operator/Laborer to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to production and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dependability, a strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Brake Press Operator/Laborer

    **Location:** Johnstown, PA

    **Pay Range:** $13-15 for entry level, $17-19 for experienced

    **Shift:** Monday through Thursday - 10 hr shifts - Days

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Operate a brake press machine and other equipment to support production processes

    + Set up and operate press brakes to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to blueprints and specifications

    + Inspect raw materials and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met

    + Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure smooth operation

    + Assist across departments with tasks such as assembly, sanding, painting, packing, and quality control

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

    + Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    + Basic math and measuring skills

    + High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
