Reporting to the **Field Service Manager** , the **Field Service Engineer** is responsible for providing daily onsite support to our customers using CDI Laser Engraving Equipment (Digital Flexo). This includes performing service, repairs, and installations of products or IT solutions, as well as conducting electrical and mechanical testing in accordance with maintenance contracts. The role requires diagnosing system failures, implementing the most cost-effective solutions, and escalating complex issues to higher levels of technical support or the quality reporting system.
This position is **remote** and will be located in **Dallas, TS**
In this role, a typical day will look like:
+ Perform onsite services at Esko customers, including new installations and operator training.
+ Conduct electrical, mechanical, and laser optics repairs.
+ Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
+ Implement field upgrades and machine software updates.
+ **Extensive travel up to 90% of the time, including overnight stays and approximately 35% local travel and 65% nationwide travel across the US, using the company vehicle or flights as needed.**
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience installing and maintaining copier, printing, industrial, or military equipment.
+ Continued Education in electrical, mechanical, or technical fields, or equivalent military training.
+ Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues.
+ Strong working knowledge of PC hardware and software installation, including video, network, and HDD drivers.
+ **Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time, including 65% overnight stays as required.**

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $29.00 - $33.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
