    Responsibilities

    + Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of the head chef.

    + Help in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

    + Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or instructions.

    + Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and marinating as needed.

    + Ensure that food quality standards are met and maintained during preparation.

    + Assist in plating and presenting dishes for service.

    + Assists in kitchen clean-up, washing dishes, cleaning and sanitizing the food preparation area to ensure sanitation and cleanliness of all food service areas

    + Support the kitchen team with inventory management and stock rotation.

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Minimum age of 21

    + A genuine passion for cooking and food preparation.

    + Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment is a plus.

    + Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

    + Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions effectively.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    + Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
