Job Title: Jr Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Join a dynamic global engineering firm with 35 years of experience in embedded systems, mechanical, manufacturing, and electrical engineering. Specializing in energy and utilities, automotive, transportation, medical devices, consumer/industrial products, and material handling, we offer comprehensive and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

+ Research existing product designs to identify and streamline redundant components.

+ Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to find opportunities for component commonization.

+ Analyze and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

+ Conduct simulations to evaluate the feasibility of component substitutions.

+ Proactively participate in testing and troubleshooting activities, seeking guidance from sr engineers when necessary.

+ Maintain thorough documentation of designs, simulations, and testing processes.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

+ Familiarity with basic electrical engineering principles.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to use oscilloscopes and power analyzers.

+ Sound understanding of electrical components and systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs.

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

+ Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Hands-on experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting.

+ Some on-the-job or internship experience is desired, but entry-level candidates are welcome.

+ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

+ Experience with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE or Saber for validating design changes and component substitutions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New Freedom, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $47.00/hr.
