    Job Title: Infusion Nurse

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. You will play a crucial role in patient care, focusing on infusion treatments, patient history gathering, and support in care plan development.

    Responsibilities

    + Record patient vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.

    + Gather patient histories and interpret lab results.

    + Obtain blood specimens and support providers in creating, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.

    + Maintain thorough documentation for assigned patient care.

    + Answer phone calls related to referrals and schedule patient tests, procedures, and hospital admissions.

    + Schedule appointments for follow-up on test results.

    + Perform administrative duties including typing, filing, faxing, and reception.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience as a Nurse.

    + 2+ years of experience in Oncology.

    + Texas State Board of Nursing License.

    + Proficiency in oncology, infusion, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Self-sufficient and critical thinker.

    + Knowledge of medical terminology and administrative skills.

    + Phlebotomy expertise.

    + Experience with electronic medical records and electronic health records.

    + Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and team player mindset.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr.
