Lab Assistant

Cleveland, OH | Full-Time | Clinical Laboratory Team

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support our pathology and specimen processing operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for accuracy in a clinical lab setting.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Receive and accession packages from clients

+ Confirm inclusion of all slides and wax blocks

+ Enter case details into EPIC Beaker (LIS system)

+ Print draft cases and assign them to pathologists

+ Deliver cases and maintain workflow efficiency

Essential Skills:

+ Sorting, filing, and sample management

+ Accessioning and data entry

+ Specimen processing and collection

+ Experience with LIS systems, especially EPIC Beaker

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred

+ Associate’s degree or HS diploma with lab experience required

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
