Job Title: Medical Assistant Nightshift
Job Description
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our providers and patients by handling a blend of clinical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare patients for visits by taking vital signs, conducting medication reconciliation, and reviewing patient history.
+ Perform in-office testing such as EKGs, blood draws, oxygen studies, and mental status exams.
+ Administer vaccines and injections.
+ Assist with procedures including suture removal, casting, and ultrasound therapy.
+ Document patient information in the Epic EMR system.
+ Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate care plans.
+ Close care gaps such as ensuring screenings and diabetic eye exams are completed.
+ Support patient communications and manage referrals.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Active MA certification.
+ Strong communication and documentation abilities.
+ Familiarity with Epic and Athena EMR systems.
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Preferred: 1+ years of experience in a medical assistant role.
+ Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification.
+ Proficiency in patient care and customer service.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kingfisher, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
