• Pharmacist

    Actalent (Honolulu, HI)


    We are seeking a knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Pharmacist to join a flourishing pharmacy in Wailea. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience in a pharmacy setting and a strong commitment to medication safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient care.

    Responsibilities:

    + Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions

    + Dispense medications in accordance with legal and professional standards

    + Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage

    + Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes

    + Oversee pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with workflow and safety protocols

    + Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

    + Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of pharmaceuticals

    + Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations

    + Provide outstanding customer service and support to patients and caregivers

    Requirements:

    + Active Pharmacist license in the state of Hawaii (or eligibility to obtain)

    + Minimum 6 months of experience in a retail or healthcare pharmacy setting

    + Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
